The date for Takamura’s challenge for the WBC world title was announced in episode 14.  It’s been a pretty long journey, but it’s almost there.  This is going to be damn hot.  But Takamura still needs to lose 2 more kilos.  Ippo has his own match before Takamura.    And… uh… what? Coach Kamogawa is fighting too?!

The beach episode continues!  The comedy continues, but this time, that’s not all.  The fun must end, and we must get back to the Serious Business™.  As the episode title suggests, we get to see couple spars.  They do carry some significance, but that’s not the meat of this episode.  (The real meaning of those spars will really come alive much, MUCH later.  Maybe around episode 30-35?)  Excitement for more battle is building.  It’s going to be a non-stop action again, in both good and bad ways…
