In many, many series, the beach episode has become one of the iconic cliche topic.  Now, they’re pulling off the second set of it in this 12-episode series.  What gives?  And… is it just me who wanted to see the girls play their music in their swim suits?

Oh yeah, we do get an onsen scene too.

Camp!

I’ve been to my fair share of camps, including church camps and cub scout camps.  I’ve also been to two school sponsored camps.  Yes, all of those in Japan.  I have a particularly vivid memory of the High School Orientation Camp.

As I wrote in the post for the last episode, I did not enter the high school with a good grade.  I was placed in the class (out of 12 classes in the grade) that gathered all the students who barely got accepted to this school.  We had all the non-serious type.  We probably had the wildest kids in the entire grade.  Which meant that we were pretty uncontrollable in this camp!

Camping in this age is one of the best, I’d say.  No music was involved in this camp, so I have no story about music in this post.  Still, it was a blast.  Including this one night, when we found, across the courtyard from the boys’ rooms, a girl changing in her room with the curtain open.  It didn’t matter how pissed our homeroom teacher was.  We just didn’t care at that point…
