I watch CoalGuys’ subs first, and see no problem with the quality, especially given the quick turnaround, but I archive Frostii’s for repeat viewings. There’s no need to hate one just because you like the other!

I agree with Manwards, CoalGuys isn’t too bad for this show. Heck, they’re sometimes even downright funny. I just like Frostii’s style over all the others.
BTW, the title for the next episode is “Late-Summer Greeting Card”, not “End of Summer”.
I debated on that title. And I still decided against doing that translation. It’s just on-a-whim decision on my part. When I see those cultural references in the episode title, I tend to do funny stuff like that.
I need some help: this episode’s subs will not play for me. Hardsubs like the karaoke and signs are there, but what I assume to be softsubs are not. Already checked my media player with other episodes and other subs; those work fine; tried reboot of computer, re-downloading the episode, turning subs on and off, nothing has worked. Please tell me what is wrong, or if I’m just being an oblivious idiot.

That’s really weird, it works like a charm for me. Are you both really using the latest version of CCCP and the included Media Player Classic – Home Cinema? If you’re using something else, that’s most likely the answer.

[CoolGuys] are just rude and subs fail, and [Chihiro] just isn’t even close to yours.

Just so everyone knows – the translator (me) took a 2-week vacation with the extended family, and didn’t let anyone else touch the series. The translator is still recovering from the vacation laziness, and only have a few minutes of ep 13 translated. We’ll be caught up by next week hopefully.

Personally, I can’t stand CG’s subs so I’m still waiting for Frostii’s release
I didn’t watch Chihiro’s releases either. It’s too much of a hassle to get a file to watch and then re-download the one I’ll be archiving when it gets released. That said, I heard there’s a new op/ed sequence in episode 14…apparently, the ending theme is awesome. Can’t wait!

Update #3: translation of episode 14 is half done, episode 13 script is getting checks by QA team, 13′s encode is done, episode 15 has aired. That’s about it. It looks like 13 will be out shortly, 14 and perhaps 15 early next week, but no guarantees.

Nightly Update #4: Quality check and encoding of episode 13 are done. We just need to do couple more fixes, get release candidate done, check its validity before we get to release that. Unless something bad is uncovered for the ep, it should be out within 24 hours.
Translation of ep 14 is now complete. This might even get released this weekend.
I’m planning to work on ep 15 for next 2 days – that’s my laziness, stretching each episodes over 2 days instead of 1. But I’m still on track for getting back to regular schedule by episode 16′s air date.
OT: of course all the while I’m keeping myself busy with this, Drrr is being left untouched.

Random question: What was the font from the Cagayake! Girls kara? The Go! Go! Maniac kara uses Segoe Print (?) which is similar, but not the same.
